Cosmetic Uses

Apart from normal consumption, green tea features a host of benefits when used aesthetically. The following concoction can be used as:

Mouth wash (prevents tooth decay and maintains fresh breath)

Face scrub (lightens and brightens skin)


Method of preparation

Simply mix 7 tablespoons of Ceylon green tea with 4 cups of mineral water. Allow it to steep at room temperature for an hour. Next, strain and store the liquid in a lidded container. Refrigerate overnight, before use.

Protecting Wounds

Did you know that black tea can be used to treat fresh wounds, cuts and burns? It is a great antiseptic, antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal, which thereby helps prevent infections.


How to use?

Hold some black tea leaves against the wound or burn. Repeat as required.
